Marshfield Area United Way

In 1946, a program called the "Community Chest" was founded to raise funds for the area and would later transition into the city's first United Way come 1970.

Strong partnerships continue to build around United Way's mission of increasing the community's capacity to care for one another while achieving goals in health, education, income, and kindness as meaningful ways to help make a difference. Highly involved with volunteering and hosting frequent volunteer sessions for the NOW program, Nelson-Jameson is also represented on United Way Board of Directors as well as numerous other committees.

With great appreciation for United Way's mission, Nelson-Jameson believes it's one of the most powerful ways to give back to the community.

Foundation Mission

The Nelson-Jameson Foundation (NJF) is focused on supporting philanthropic organizations that enhance our core value as a Golden Rule Company. Grants are targeted toward charitable programs that are related to the food and dairy industries or support charities that are important to Nelson-Jameson employees and the communities in which they reside.
