Product Details
Surround gate valve handles and prevent them from being turned. Get assurance that the valve handles will stay in the desired 'closed' or 'open' position. The gate valve lockout's hinged clamshell housing fully encloses the valve handle and prevents unauthorized access. The tough thermoplastic, polypropylene lockout device is a bright hazard red color and features a durable, impact-resistant aluminum hinge with permanent binding pin. A rigid hinge/pin design stands up to repeated use, opens easily, and closes securely.
Three shackle holes secure with padlocks (sold separately) in a group lockout setting.* A unique pry guard prevents the ability to insert a screwdriver in between the halves to pry them apart. In the center, a thinner area allows for easy drill through and attachment on rising stem gate valves. Comes with eye-catching safety label with red diagonal hazard stripes and space to write in pertinent lockout information. Additional safety labels sold separately.
