Golfing for the Kids
We are not experts in the game, but we do like to golf for good causes. Every year, Nelson-Jameson participates as one of the sponsors of the Ronald McDonald House Golf Scramble. The annual golf outing supports the Mission of RMHC to improve the health and well-being of children and their families.
Golfers from all skill levels and different organizations come together to hit the 18-hole course to make a difference for those in need. The day event encourages building and growing relationships with potential donors and volunteers in a fun, competitive way for RHMC to help achieve goals.
RHMC programs share their vision of a world where all children have access to medical care while their families can actively be involved in their treatments. Whether it comes down to lodging or meal expenses, RHMC programs alleviate financial burdens and provide families with sick children more tools to cope. The charitable golf outing might not help us with our swing, but it sure helps the kids win in many meaningful ways.
Our mission
The Nelson-Jameson Foundation (NJF) is focused on supporting philanthropic organizations that enhance our core value as a Golden Rule Company. Grants are targeted toward charitable programs that are related to the food and dairy industries or support charities that are important to Nelson-Jameson employees and the communities in which they reside.
