TECHLITE Insulation™ offers a patented pipe insulation process to a variety of different industries and applications. The two half section pipe insulation is easy to apply utilizing a shiplap design. Pipe insulation sections are manufactured in 4' pieces and can be combined with multiple jackets to achieve the specific requirements needed for each application. TECHLITE supplies a large assortment of pipe sizes, including stainless steel, and can be custom cut to inside or outside diameter.

 

879 Series

TECHLITE ® 879 series is a sanitary insulation system popular in the food processing/manufacturing industries. Featuring excellent antibacterial and wash down properties, this high performance system uses a smooth, semi-rigid PVC exterior jacket that is permanently laminated to the foam insulation. This mirror smooth finish not only works well, but looks the part in all food processing environments. In addition the 879 series provides years of clean and sanitary service with its hard, glossy surface that never needs painting, and is the best high performance insulation system on the market.

  • Thermal Conductivity (K Factor) @ 75°: 0.27 btu-in/hr-ft2-°F.
  • Flame Spread/Smoke Development: Less than 25/50 per ASTM E84 test.
 
 

Fittings & Inserts

TECHLITE fitting insulation inserts are available in preformed or diaper form. The preformed insulation inserts are precision ground to provide a good fit within the pipe tolerances. The diapers are conditioned at the factory to allow flexibility to the TECHLITE.  Low smoke 20 mil PVC fitting covers are also available. The PVC covers are UV inhibited and resistant to harsh weather conditions and many chemicals.
