Thermco Brine Hydrometers

These specialized hydrometers, often called salimeters, are used in pickling operations, meat packing plants, etc. to measure the salt content of brines. Saturated salt solution contains 26.4% sodium chloride by weight. These hydrometers read the percentage saturation or salt percentage at 60°F.
