3M™ Aqua-Pure™ AP43011 Scale Inhibition Water Treatment System, 6/Case

Designed to help reduce scale build-up on hot water-using appliances and protect piping from corrosion. Contains polyphosphates to bind calcium and magnesium hardness minerals, preventing them from precipitating out (or becoming a solid) and building up on metallic surfaces such as water heaters and plumbing fixtures. The filter is to be installed on the cold water supply line to help extend the life of downstream water-using appliances. Features 3/4" NPT inlet/outlet connections and a 316 stainless steel head for “sweat-in-place” installation and corrosion resistance. Pressure range of 25 to 125 PSI. Temperature range of 40° to 100°F.
