3M™ Nitrile High-Performance Plastic Adhesive 1099 has a medium viscosity, making it suitable for applications via brushing or flowing techniques.

Nitrile rubber is a critical ingredient in the formula, essential for producing strong, long-lasting, and flexible bonds. With a remarkable resistance to oils, fuels, and a range of chemicals, this high-performing adhesive is ideal for applications in environments susceptible to these elements. The nitrile plastic adhesive is especially valued for its quick-drying properties, offering efficient and fast drying capabilities. High-strength bonds set at room temperature with 40 minutes of working time and bond well to plastics and vinyl, providing long-term adhesion with resistance to substrate plasticizer migration. It can also achieve even higher bonding properties through heat-initiated chemical reactions. Exclusively crafted for industrial use, the nitrile high-performance plastic adhesive is engineered to adhere to a diverse range of substrates, including leather and the majority of vinyl sheeting in products like awnings, upholstery, and synthetic leather. It is sprayable with industrial-grade spray equipment, bringing convenience and consistency to large-scale applications.

Not recommended for polyolefin bonding. It may also stain thin or light-colored vinyls.
