Salmonella Indicator Broth PDX-SIB

AOAC approved, PDX-SIB is intended for use in screening environmental samples for the presence of viable Salmonella species. Positive samples will exhibit a color change from blue to yellow if Salmonella bacteria is growing in the liquid media. The color indicates a presumptive positive. Just swab your surface with pre-moistened swabs of your choice, pour indicator broth into tube, incubate for 24 to 48 hours at 37°C, read color of sample. If presumptive positive, confirm.
