Ampco DG Backplate AF 4410G-11-316 - Compatible with AC/AC+ 4410 Centrifugal Pumps

Ampco DG backplate 4410G-11-316 provides a wear surface for the impeller. It consists of a gland ring facing the bearing side, and the mechanical seal (or gland packings) are accurately arranged to prevent fluid leakage.

The opposite side of the back plate is placed towards the impeller and acts as a wall between the suction casing. Constructed of 316 stainless steel, the backplate features excellent resistance to high temperatures and common chlorides and protection from stress-cracking, pitting, and crevice corrosion.

The stainless steel backplate also contributes to the pump's structural integrity by acting as a robust barrier between the suction casing and the impeller. This adds an extra layer of protection against damage and wear, further ensuring that the pump operates smoothly and efficiently.
