Alpet® PAA 15% Antimicrobial Agent
Alpet PAA 15% Antimicrobial Agent is a strong, broad spectrum oxidizing biocide for use in dairy and food processing. Formulated with 15% peroxyacetic acid and 22% hydrogen peroxide, Alpet PAA 15% Antimicrobial Agent is customized for safe decontaminating and controlling bacteria formation. Highly effective when used as an additive in water for fruits and vegetables to control spoilage and decay causing bacteria. Clear and colorless, this liquid surface sanitizer is significantly successful against gram positive Staphylococcus aureus and gram negative organism Escherichia coli. The formula's lower alkalinity allows higher cycles of concentration than hypochlorite to result in less water lost from the system in the form of blowdown. With optimum performance below pH 8.6, Alpet PAA 15% remains effective up to a pH 9.5. Ideal for use in sanitation of both organic and conventional food and beverage plants. Also suitable for use in commercial greenhouses as well as treatment of harvest potatoes to control, treat, and suppress bacterial and fungal diseases.
