This in-line, real-time monitoring solution is designed to protect fluid-handling systems from bacterial contamination by detecting electrochemical changes at the very first layer of bacterial settlement. Engineered primarily for water-use applications like plant water lines and Clean-in-Place (CIP) lines, it operates optimally in environments with oxygen levels greater than 1 ppm and conductivity levels greater than 10 µS/cm. The sensor features a durable 316L stainless steel, coated titanium, and PEEK construction that withstands temperatures from -10° to 150°C, with active biofilm monitoring occurring between 2° and 40°C. Data is communicated directly to facility monitoring systems via 4-20 mA or RS485/Modbus RTU signals to optimize cleaning schedules, reduce chemical overuse, and prevent contamination before it impacts process integrity.
