BD BBL CultureSwab™ Liquid Stuart Collection and Transport System, Rayon Tip, Plastic Shaft, Sterile, 50/Pack

This sterile, single-swab collection and transport device is designed for the collection and preservation of aerobic bacteriological specimens.  It features a round-bottom tube containing Liquid Stuart media, a buffered, non-nutritious solution with sodium thioglycollate to create a reduced environment for optimal microorganism recovery during transport. The system includes a single, non-toxic rayon-tipped swab with a 5.25" plastic shaft, a security cap ensuring a water-tight and tamper-evident seal, and a pre-attached label with essential product information.
