The BD ESwab elution swab and collection kit is a sterile system designed for the collection and transport of clinical specimens containing aerobic, anaerobic, and fastidious bacteria. It features a regular-sized flocked swab with an 80 mm breakpoint and a tube that contains 1 mL of  Amies solution. This design ensures optimal sample elution and maintains bacterial viability for up to 48 hours.
