Ketosis in dairy cows is a result of a negative energy balance, occuring during the early postpartum period. Place one drop of blood on the test strip and then read in the BHBCheck Blood Ketone Meter to measure BHB (Beta Hydroxybutyrate Dehydrogenase) levels in blood for detection of sub-clinical ketosis in dairy cows.
