Unpaired and foil shielded, the Carol Brand C2524A.18.10 Communication Cable is a multi-conductor that carries signals for communication purposes and is used in various commercial, industrial, and residential applications. 

The cable is engineered using a 100% Aluminum/Polyester Flexfoil™ composition to safeguard against Electromagnetic Interference (EMI), which may compromise the quality of transmitted signals. Serving as a robust shield, it either reflects or absorbs intrusive electromagnetic waves, ensuring the integrity of the signal remains intact. A 25% shield overlap offers excellent shielding efficiency.

Stranded conductors are more flexible than solid conductors, allowing more flexibility to navigate through tight spaces and corners or when they need to be moved more frequently. Stranded conductors provide better signal quality and overall offer a larger surface area that may enhance connectivity in connectors, potentially reducing contact resistance. They can handle vibration and movement and are ideal for applications where the cable might be subject to physical stressors. 

Stranded conductors boast superior flexibility, enhancing their ability to weave through narrow passageways and negotiate sharp corners with ease without compromising the conductor's integrity. The design enables them to absorb vibration and adapt to movement, making them exceptionally suited for scenarios where the cable is exposed to continuous physical stress.

The communication cable features conductor insulation made from polyethylene, while its outer jacket is crafted from PVC. This jacket comes in a grey color and has a thickness of 0.0200 inches. It is designed with 2 conductors, each comprising a 7/28 conductor strand. The wire gauge is specified as 20 AWG. Designed to operate efficiently up to 300V and within a broad temperature spectrum, ranging from -4°F to 167°F (-20°C to 75°C), this wire ensures dependable performance across diverse environmental conditions.
