Strong and shatterproof. The space-saving design provides an average of 13% greater interior volume than standard hemispherical domes. Polypropylene plate is perforated for air transfer and rests on retaining ledge of the bottom section. A stopcock with a Teflon® TFE plug which turns, allowing a slow, gentler entrance of air, preventing unnecessary turbulence and crucible damage. The stopcock is a highly visible red and has a port which accepts 6.4 mm (1/4") ID tubing. Center hole provides for easy removal. Includes cover.
