Product Details

SilentSync Industrial Timing Belts feature an innovative design with Helical Offset Tooth (HOT) technology that seamlessly integrates belts and sprockets into a harmonious, noise-reducing partnership. A sophisticated color-coded numbering system uses letters corresponding to the color markings on the belt (e.g., “B” for Blue, “R” for Red, and so on) to indicate both tooth pitch and belt width, ensuring a perfect match between belt and sprocket every time.

With the utilization of circular arc geometry, SilentSync timing belts offer superior resistance to ratcheting, precise motion control, higher power capacity, and enhanced stress distribution. The smooth, continuous tooth engagement produces a quieter drive system and less vibration while also allowing the belt teeth to endure the shearing forces of high torque loads without damage.

The patented drive system is designed for high-performance and high-horsepower applications, offering numerous advantages that enhance value and cost savings. Unlike chain drives, SilentSync timing belts do not require lubrication, which makes maintenance easier. They utilize high-strength aramid cord to significantly increase horsepower ratings. After an initial 8-hour run-in period, these belts do not need any retention, enhancing longevity of the drive system and reducing downtimes.

The intelligent timing belt system features an easy-to-use color-coded identification method, where orange belts are specifically made to match orange sprockets. It boasts exceptional energy efficiency, with up to 98% energy utilization, and includes static conductivity for improved safety and reliability. They offer the potential to reduce the size and weight of drive systems when replacing many traditional V-belt drives. Additionally, they significantly lower noise (by up to 19 dB) and vibration levels when compared to conventional straight-tooth synchronous belts.

The timing belts can operate over a wide temperature range, making them versatile for different environments. Ideal for applications involving chain drives, or in situations where reducing noise and vibration is crucial. This helps lower the risks for operators and ensures a safer work environment.
