The Rate-Master Flowmeter model RMC-108-SSV presents precision with direct reading capability, combining distinctive features and affordability, making it suitable for a broad spectrum of applications.

The design prioritizes ease of use with direct reading scales, integral flow guides, and a highly visible float for accurate readings. Its scales are meticulously produced from brushed aluminum and finished with epoxy, featuring dual-sided graduations for enhanced readability. The flowmeter body is injection molded from shatter-proof polycarbonate plastic around a precision tapered pin, ensuring accurate and repeatable readings. The single-piece plastic body is mounted to a stainless steel backbone with welded pipe thread inserts to absorb piping torque.

The RMC-108-SSV flowmeter is designed for easy body interchangeability. This means that the current body can be detached from the backbone and replaced with a new one. O-rings ensure a secure fit at both the inlet and outlet, keeping the piping intact. This replaceability advantage is particularly beneficial in settings such as labs or factories, where various scale ranges might be needed at the same location. Due to this unique feature, bodies from any Rate-Master Series flowmeter system can be interchanged easily.
