It has white enamel graduations every 50mL, a uniform wall thickness for heating, and a reinforced rim for protection against accidental impacts. It meets DIN ISO 1773 standards for conical flasks. The flask is autoclavable and offers superior chemical durability. It has a low-temperature gradient and can withstand high temperatures and thermal shocks. The borosilicate glass can handle high heat with the following tolerances: Strain Point 515°C, Annealing Point 565°C, and Softening Point 820°C.
