Product Details

Anderson-Negele ITM-4 Four-Beam Turbidity Meter sets a new standard in precise turbidity measurements, crucial for enhancing process control and product quality across various industries.

This compact, integral turbidity sensor is designed for easy installation and configuration, seamlessly integrating into production lines.

Utilizing advanced four-beam alternating light technology, the ITM-4 features two infrared senders and two receivers arranged at right angles, ensuring accurate and reliable turbidity readings. With measurement capabilities ranging from 0 to 5000 NTU and 0 to 1250 EBC, this meter is versatile enough to monitor different products along the same process line. The device offers both switching and analog (4-20mA) outputs, with four remote-selectable ranges for enhanced operational flexibility.

It features CIP/SIP cleaning capabilities, allowing operation at temperatures of up to 130 °C (266 °F). The device is equipped with a stainless steel fitting, and its components are made from durable PEEK and sapphire glass.

All wetted materials are FDA-compliant, ensuring safety and reliability, and the Tri-Clamp process connections facilitate easy integration. Additionally, the ITM-4 includes pollution compensation for its glass panes to maintain accuracy over time. There is no requirement for a separate evaluation unit, simplifying installation and operation.

The meter supports 11 switchable measurement ranges, with a minimum range starting at 0 to 5 NTU and 0 to 1 EBC.

It employs a color-independent measurement principle at a wavelength of 860 nm for consistent results.

The industrial process control device is rated IP 69 K and features an M12 plug-in connector, making it suitable for use in wet environments with humidity levels of up to 100%.

Constructed for durability, the ITM-4 design translates to increased uptime and greater confidence in quality control measures.

Real-time turbidity measurement with ITM-4 ensures lower total cost of ownership compared to many competitors, providing a robust solution that ensures long-term, reliable operation with minimal maintenance.
