GN-6 and GN-4 Metricel membrane filters are made of mixed cellulose esters. GN-6 grids have a unique dot grid pattern that easily quantifies bacterial colonies without growth inhibition or enhancement. GN-4 membranes dissolve completely using standard digestion procedures and clear completely for minimal interference in fiber counting.
