Horizontal LKC-2 Disk Check Valves

The perfect way to prevent reverse flow in sanitary pipelines. These check valves open with only one pound of pressure in the flow direction. However, equalized or reverse pressure causes the spring loaded seat to close, forming a positive seal and preventing back flow. Available in vertical or horizontal versions. Complete drainability is provided by the eccentric body design of the horizontal version, providing the utmost in sanitation. LKC-2 check valves are constructed of polished stainless steel (vertical is 304; horizontal is 316), EPDM elastomers and clamp connections. Max. product pressure; 145 psi. Temperature range: 14° to 284°F. Options: Weld connections; Nitrile or Viton elastomers; vertical also available in 316SS; industrial polish.
