Using patented SnapValve™ technology, the 1 mL Buffered Peptone Water is released down the swab shaft, neutralizing residue sanitizers and facilitating recovery of bacteria. The sample is then ready to be poured onto media or streaked onto agar plates for culturing. Q-Swab™ can be used either wet or dry. 12 month shelf life.
