The AS-Interface (AS-i) technology allows easy connection of binary and analog sensors and actuators to a higher-level control system (PLC). This cost-effective networking solution features simplicity of installation, flexible topology, and the ability to transmit both power and data over a single unshielded two-wire cable.
Constructed with high-quality stainless steel housing and EPDM seals, this module can withstand high-pressure cleaning and aggressive cleaning agents, ensuring long-term durability and reliability.
Versatile connectivity is possible with 8 x M12 sockets that allows for seamless integration of multiple sensors and actuators. It functions as a passive splitter box for AS-i and auxiliary (AUX) voltage, enhancing flexibility in system design.
The system operates within a voltage range of 26.5 to 31.6 V DC for AS-i and 20 to 30 V DC for auxiliary power. It supports a maximum current load of 4A per module or slot. Additionally, the temperature range of -5 to 70°C ensures that it can adapt to various working conditions.
Equipped with visible LEDs, this interface sensor displays operational status, switching status, and error notifications, facilitating quick diagnostics and maintenance.
The included items are a protective cap and eight M12 connectors.
