Magrabar PD-605 Defoamer is a high-performance, vegetable-based defoamer that effectively controls foam in food processing. Unlike silicone-based defoamers, Magrabar PD-605 defoamer uses natural vegetable oil with reasonably low surface tension, making it an ideal solution for foam control in water-based foods.
This defoamer enhances the efficiency of whey evaporators by promoting wetting of the evaporator surfaces and flow of concentrated whey as it increases in solids, resulting in less fouling, efficient evaporation, and easier cleaning of evaporator surfaces.
This unique defoamer can also be used in various fermentation processes based on carbohydrate or protein feed stocks.
