Multi-conductor computer cable designed for EIA RS-232/422 applications.

It features three pairs of 24 AWG-stranded tinned copper conductors with polyethylene insulation, twisted pairs, an overall Beldfoil® shield (100% coverage), a 24 AWG-stranded tinned copper drain wire, and a PVC jacket. This cable is low capacitance and CM compliant, making it suitable for high-speed data transmission applications.

Other key specifications include a 100 ohm impedance, an operating temperature range of -40°C to +80°C, and a Beldfoil shield for enhanced EMI/RFI protection.

Suitable applications include RS-232 extended-distance applications, RS-423 applications, computer communications, low-voltage analog signals (4-20ma, 0-10v, ...), low-voltage digital control (24v, …), line-level audio, and panel wiring.
