These are complete, pre-sterilized, non-toxic, disposable filter units designed for membrane filter analysis. The receivers are made of polystyrene and feature a cellulose nitrate membrane, while the upper chambers are constructed from polypropylene. After filtration, the upper chamber can be easily twisted off from the receiver. These units conform to APHA standards for water-quality work. The 0.45 µm size meets the requirements of APHA Standard Methods and U.S. regulations.
