Narrow Stem Sedi-Pet™ Pipets

Long flexible stem that can be bent to draw liquids from narrow tubes into the bulb. Can be heat-sealed to serve as storage and transport vessels. SAMCO® Transfer Pipets are an excellent choice for improved safety and disposable convenience for food processing labs. The single unit design features a built-in pipet bulb that eliminates time-consuming plugging, packaging and autoclaving while preventing cross-contamination. Made from shatterproof, low-density polyethylene which is non-toxic and inert. Gently feed a tube into the fill hole of a crystalized electrode; withdraw spent solution or flush and agitate to remove crystals by repeatedly squeezing bulb. Conveniently store practical quantities of frozen or refrigerated standards; draw positive control up into bulb, clip, seal tube with portable sealing tool, and freeze; to use, thaw, clip above seal, and dispense. Use to take environmental samples of standing water in hard-to-reach places; thread tip through drain or crevice, draw up sample, seal, label, and send to microlab. Should be used instead of needles and syringes wherever possible; they can be incinerated and will not tear or puncture disposal bags.
