The ready-to-use environmental swab system is an essential tool for quality control in the food processing industry. It features a 5-inch rayon-tipped swab infused with letheen neutralizing buffer, which aids in the recovery of bacteria and supports effective hygiene monitoring. These versatile swabs can be used wet or dry to sample surfaces, ensuring compliance with food safety standards. The system allows for the quick delivery of 1.0 mL of samples onto a Neogen Petrifilm® Plate, making it ideal for microbial testing in food processing facilities. Additionally, a vinyl-covered wire rack, sold separately, is available to hold up to 50 swabs, providing a convenient storage solution for food safety inspections.
