Neogen® Veratox® For Soy
Veratox for Soy Allergen is intended for the quantitative analysis of soy residue in food products such as cookies, crackers, granola/power bars, ice cream, salad dressings, cereals, liquid products (e.g., juices and milk) and clean-in-place rinses. Limit of quantitation: 2.5 ppm soy flour (Described as the lowest concentration point on the calibration curve that this test can reliably detect soy protein allergen.) Range of quantitation: 2.5–25 ppm soy flour (For quantitating samples above 25 ppm, contact a Neogen representative for dilution instructions. Allergen detection: This test detects soy proteins and the results are expressed as ppm of soy flour. To calculate results as soy protein isolate (SPI), multiply results by 4. To calculate results as soy protein, multiply results by 51.5%.
