Neogen® Veratox® For Total Milk

Veratox for Total Milk Allergen is intended for the quantitative analysis of food products, such as juices, cake mixes, cookies, sauces, and sorbets, and clean-in-place rinses for the presence of milk proteins casein and whey. Limit of detection: 1 ppm nonfat dried milk (NFDM) (described as the lowest concentration point on the calibration curve that this test can reliably detect milk protein.) Range of quantitation: 2.5–25 ppm NFDM (for quantitating samples below 2.5 ppm or above 25 ppm, contact a Neogen representative for dilution instructions. Allergen detection: The test detects casein and whey proteins from cows, goats and sheep, and the results are expressed as ppm of NFDM.
