Oxylite CS (Calcium Sulfate)

A 32% benzoyl peroxide formulation is used as a bleaching powder for both milk and whey. More user-friendly and economical than titanium dioxide. Recommended usage rate of 1 oz per 1000 lb. of product. Has been used to bleach whey for years. It works well in bleaching whole fat milk. Used in Hispanic cheeses, or where a whiter finished product is desired. Oxylite CS is the same formulation as Oxylite XX, but uses calcium sulfate to replace starch.
