The UniTranz-RT universal transport system offers a comprehensive solution for the collection and preservation of viruses, Chlamydia, Mycoplasma, and Ureaplasma. Each system contains 1 mL of UTM-RT medium, which remains stable at room temperature and includes antimicrobial agents. This medium is stored in a leak-proof vial and comes with a sterile, individually wrapped Ultrafine PurFlock Ultra swab. The swab features a soft polyester flock tip that measures 16.764 mm, attached to a 6" polystyrene handle with a 100 mm molded break point. This product is ideal for nasopharyngeal and urethral sampling. It is CE-marked and manufactured in the USA, ensuring optimal specimen integrity for a range of diagnostic tests, including PCR and antigen detection.
