Product Details
Extend shelf life and avoid product defects using the QMI test for heat-resistant psychrotrophic bacteria (HRPB). These spore-forming organisms survive pasteurization and grow at refrigeration temperatures. Use the QMI 2 L sampling assembly to collect a sample at the pasteurizer, then screen for the presence of HRPB. When these organisms are found, use the 250 mL QMI bag assembly with the Lab Pasteurization Count Test to identify milk loads and producers who are the source of HRPB.
