Sani-Safe knives offer the weight and balance of wood handled knives with the sanitary advantage of polypropylene. Stain-free, high-carbon stainless steel blades are hand-ground and hand-honed for the sharpest, longest lasting edge.
High-impact "Grip-tex" surface is more slip resistant than other types of handles. For extra safety, most models have extra-large molded guards. These handles are also sanitary. Bacteria, acid, moisture, fats, and grease can't penetrate the white, formed, polypropylene handle. An impervious seal where the super sharp high carbon stainless steel blade enters the rivet less handle provides sanitary protection and withstands the 1000-lb. pull test.
