This universally applicable process-controlled instrument is ideal for measuring operations in which high accuracy is imperative or the possibility of online documentation via PC is desired. This handheld Pt100 platinum high-precision digital thermometer meets the specifications in the Grade "A" Pasteurized Milk Ordinance (PMO) Pasteurization Equipment and Controls, Digital Test Thermometers.
Advantages of this ultra-high precision thermometer are:
• Thermometers are certified at 5 critical temperatures: 32°, 145°, 161.6°, 180°, and 191°F or 0°, 63°, 72°, 83°, and 89°C.
• Recording maximum, minimum, hold and average values (average over user selectable time).
• Password protection for calibration function.
• Resolution 0.01°C/F.
• High measuring accuracy ±0.01 for shorter ranges.
• ±0.03 Accuracy to 199.9°C, which exceeds the ±0.05° PMO requirement.
• Thermometer and probe are serialized to document compatibility.
• The self-diagnostic circuitry identifies that the correct probe is attached to the correct thermometer. Without a correct connection, the display alerts the user that no temperature can be displayed.
