Product Details
Model ML-49 is a portable 12-volt battery-operated long wave UV black light. Strong, lightweight durable housing. Requires two 6V batteries (not included, order 6-volt battery #192-2125). Not as powerful as the Model B-100 AP but its portability makes it ideal for hundreds of applications. Model ML-49 does not include a separate filter, its BLB tube includes the filter.
Black light is one of a sanitarian's best weapons to detect milkstone deposits in tanks, tankers and equipment. Also use to detect aflatoxins, spoilage or rodent contamination. Long wave UV light (365 nm) fluoresces extremely fine particles and surface defects normally invisible to the human eye. BLAK-RAY® lamps are well-engineered to be convenient and reliable. UL listed.
