Watts® Series 9D, 3/4" Dual Check Valve with Port, Brass, FNPT, W9DM2F

Watts Series 9D dual check valve, featuring a port, is designed especially for small supply lines and is optimal for use in laboratories, processing tanks, sterilizers, dairy machinery, and similar settings. This valve is particularly well suited for preventing backflow in boiler feed lines whenever the supply pressure dips below the system pressure.

The compact and straightforward design of the 9DM2 dual check valve model ensures ease of maintenance and blocks the backward flow of contaminated hot or cold water into the clean water supply. Its true line-sized construction enhances the opening of check modules, allowing dirt and debris to pass more freely and minimize fouling. The primary check valve, featuring a rubber disc that seats against a corresponding rubber component, provides a secure closure. In contrast, the secondary check valve employs a rubber disc that seats against metal, achieving a more precise fit for an even tighter seal.

The 9DM2 model is robust, constructed with a brass exterior and stainless steel internal components, including a built-in strainer and duo of check valves. It boasts NPT female connections at both inlet and outlet points for seamless integration. Aimed at providing high flow rates with low-pressure loss, it is fitted with union connections that simplify maintenance by making removing and replacing the valve easier. The versatile design allows for both vertical and horizontal installation, providing a range of setup options.
