Alpet® PAA 5.6% Antimicrobial Agent

Alpet PAA 5.6% Antimicrobial Agent is a peroxyacetic acid sanitizer for use in both organic and conventional food and beverage plants. Formulated with high oxidizing potential, Alpet PAA 5.6% Antimicrobial Solution is powerfully effective against a broad range of microorganisms, spores, and surface contaminates. For a better clean and prolonged contact, use with Perafoam™ foaming additive to create a thick, shaving cream-like foam that clings on vertical surfaces and expands to fill drains. Unique biocide formula features lower alkalinity to allow higher cycles of concentration than hypochlorite to result in less water lost from the system in the form of blowdown. With optimum performance below pH 8.6, Alpet PAA 5.6% Antimicrobial Solution remains effective up to a pH of 9.5. and is safe for discharge to land or for surface irrigation. Ideal for use on conveyors, pipelines, equipment, floors, drains, walls, and even animal housing. Recognized as a food-grade solution, product can also be used as a fruit and vegetable water treatment for raw or fresh, post-harvest, or further processed fruit and vegetables to control spoilage and decay causing bacteria and fungi.
