Neogen® Dry Sponges

This dry, biocide-free cellulose sponge is designed for easy sample collection. It is safe for microorganisms, as it does not interfere with their viability for up to 48 hours of refrigeration for Salmonella and E. coli and up to 72 hours for Listeria. The sponge is made from durable, absorbent cellulose material that effectively holds and releases the sample, minimizing excess dripping. It comes with a 6" x 11" Neogen Sample Bag, which has a capacity of 30 oz/0.89L and is double-laminated for strength, puncture resistance, and durability when blending or transporting. The bag also comes with wire ties for secure closure and a large white write-on area with a blue top to help identify it. You can use the writable area to document data such as the date, time of collection, and other information for accuracy, efficiency, and easy identification. Both the sample bag and sponge are decontaminated through gamma irradiation, which ensures a long shelf life. This product is made in the USA using globally sourced materials.
