Governor William H. Upham House

Known as The Upham Mansion, the home of former Wisconsin Governor William H. Upham is now home to the North Wood County Historical Society.

The Italiante-style structure, constructed in 1880, now serves as a museum and is registered by the National Register of Historic Places (NRHP). The house furnishings are mainly original family furnishings from Upham's furniture business.

The Upham House offers the opportunity to learn local history, complete research, and participate in activities and guided tours. Aesthetically pleasing, the Upham House provides a sense of place, offers official recognition of significant history, and enriches cultural value.
